It's the week of Halloween, and we've got a lot going on!

Halloween Game Tournament II

The Leadwerks Halloween Game Tournament is nearly here. Rather than a competition, this is a co-opetition. Everyone who publishes an entry to the Workshop or forum gets a Leadwerks sticker. Any entries that are judged to be especially noteworthy get a Leadwerks T-shirt. Prizes are sitting here waiting to be shipped.

Leadwerks 3.3

Leadwerks 3.3 is in beta testing now. Among several new features is a new Workshop design that's easier to use. I recommend using this version for the Halloween Game Tournament, as its published games are still compatible with the current version 3.2, and it's easier to work with Workshop content in, like this pack of Halloween props or Einlander's excellent graveyard model pack. I'm shooting to release Leadwerks 3.3 this week, though vehicles will be skipped in order to get an early release date.

Meet George

This is George. George is a zombie. He has four friends that are coming with him to a new zombie character pack exclusively created for Leadwerks Game Engine. Prepare to bludgeon, stab, and shoot George and his friends in your own epic zombie shootout.

Why not sell those T shirts josh? Hopefully that could drive funds for you to further development. Id buy one or 2.

 

I know that the cost to have these made is pretty pricey unless you get into a high volume. This makes the margin small in what you can gain and thenn you have to wonder if very many will sell to make it worth the time.

 

Ive done it for my clan. Although many showed interest and several were purchased, i still ate some of the costs.

I am not actually interested in selling shirts. Shipping them is a pain. Leadwerks is doing just fine with software sales. smile.png

 

Besides, one can't just simply "buy" a Leadwerks shirt. The shirt must be earned to be worn.
