Sooshi 8 Posted February 23, 2010 im all over this, already building the first model for a demo of a zombie hunter who will ride his chopper into a zombie infested town.. but dont know if I will have enough time to finish something because I am currently studying A.I. But oh man I would reaaaally like to create something for Siggraph, maybe if I got together with a more experianced programmer we could create something cool using LeadWerks, Rick, Pixel, Niosop, Marley, Whisper you guys we should join forces and create something cool for Siggraph Quote Link to comment
Canardia 42 Posted February 23, 2010 We could make a SigGraph community project, which will use LE to the extreme with thousands of colored lights and shadows, 3D sounds and emitters, custom shaders, high poly 3D models, etc... It could run standalone as a rolling demo, or it could be manually played also. Quote Link to comment
Rick 1,515 Posted February 25, 2010 This sounds like if they actually accept you, you'll have to go to LA in July. I wouldn't be able to make that trip Quote Link to comment
Josh 15,449 Posted February 25, 2010 I don't think 1000 lights shows off an engine the way good artwork does. You can throw tons of technical specs at people, but it doesn't really mean anything compared to a nice screenshot. Quote Link to comment
