Here are some of the things from my childhood that I still find weirdly fascinating. Bringing that same feeling into Leadwerks is something I have long driven towards. More on that later.

Well, you already have that with CSG brushes.

I'm of the opinion that it is faster to prototype with LEGO blocks.

Whow. Did you also have a model railway with terrain. Cool. That was the first terrain I ever did, using mosquito-net, plaster, sawdust and colors. These days making a terrain is a bit more virtual but quite fun anyway.

I used balled up newspaper, masking tape, and then newspaper sheets soaked in a mix of flour and water for the surface. I'm not really sure if that's sanitary but it was as hard as concrete.

For water, one simple trick is to use white Elmer's glue mixed with food coloring. It will harden to a clear flat surface with a deep blue tint as it gets deeper.

Yes. How could I forget the glue and all the newspapers. It's with a little tear in my eye I now remember me and my now deceased Father spending hours upon hours building the perfect model rail landscape together. A beautiful memory. Thanks for reminding me of that Josh :)

I remember building tunnels and mountains using this method. Then spending hours playing with trains and army men. Just letting your imagination run wild.

Goodtimes.

I used to play with LEGO all the time! I loved making cities and skyscrapers. I still to this day wish to make a minifigure scale metropolis.
