  4. Well there were only a few samples included with the free downlaod that I actually liked so it makes sense to go for the DVD ... guess I am just fussy but I do like the app. even if I dont know what the .. I am doing with it lol

  6. you have emitters working from LoadScene() on an sbx? odd .. as it will still crash for me when there is NO light of any kind in the scene ... or for that matter anything else, even trying to load a scene that contains only a single emitter causes the crash to.

  8. I only checked it for the barrels .. it also does it in app: Again the spot was on Dynamic+Static+Buffered

  12. What did you do to solve this issue, besides remodeling and texturing. I did a quick fix in UU3D, selected all, made double sided and created a new group, selected all again and then flipped normals, then selected the original group and deleted the mesh .. probably the totally wrong way to do things but I ended up with a fixed model with the same poly count or you can do what Nio said

The Emitter Problem: Basic scene, 1 x Directional light : 1 x Skybox : 1 x Terrain : 1 x Emitter (all generic to the SDK) LE_TEST.zip Using the Basic Scene Loader code it will crash the app with: "Unhandled Exception:Attempt to access field or method of null object." The debugger then points to fw.render() Remove the Emitter and alls well in the world. Except of course no emitter
  15. actually it seems it happens if the P-Light is rendered in the same view as the WPlane it does not have to actually render on it
  16. Yep seems something is broken in 2.31
  17. Certainly something is broken thats for sure .. As mack said about the Waterplane and pointlight .. a simple scene with only a water plane and a PLight will cause the error .. other scenes when a P light is rendered and its light would fall "onto" a WPlane .. the error happens. I have checked the same scenes in C++ and no error. The same for emitters .. any scene with an emitter causes the crash, not so in C++ as far as I can tell.

  19. As far as I can remember/know The .stf format was only used for demoing 3DWS and the .stf format won't work with anything else.
  20. Sounds like the normal problems I had with models from dexsoft.
