  1. NOTE: This is not a ***** or complaint, just trying to get a broader understanding of Leadweks in general.
  2. I see some people having problems with uploading their games and one post is two days old with no response but from a fellow 'user' of the product. I looked at Leadwerks company profile and it says: Please use the forum for technical assistance. Include as much information as possible and attach any relevant files to your post so that we can help you more quickly. Is there a "WE" or an "I" in the technical support? The only person I see posting is Josh. From what I understand and read this is all done by one person. That is great until two days have past with no response to help with the problem. Is there only ONE person at Leadwerks to help when problems occur?
  3. Right now I'm sitting at 188 MB of video memory usage. The game still runs at 60 FPS on an Alienware laptop with no problem. I want to do this all on my laptop and not my gaming desktop so it's portable. I added an elevator with a lot of polygons and the memory usage jumped a lot for one thing in game. I know I can get rid of some polygons and just add an image for the control panel. My question is, what should I target the video memory usage and what should be max? I know some people have super gaming computers but what would be the norm? Thanks for the help.
  4. Well went through and did EVERYTHING the same step by step and ran it in debug mode each step. All works fine now. So it seems it must be a bug in Leadwerks. I'll just make sure I don't go very far before backing up a clean copy.
  5. I have everything back but a couple walls and a floor that are using the scifi interior pack materials and debug is fine. I don't get it.
  6. I changed everything back to max view, deleted the floor, walls and stuff. Same thing, debug crashes but game will run fine. I save the game folder on an external hard drive every few hours when game is fine with no problems. I copied the known good game in. Debug works fine. So far I have my texture in game and the stairs and debug works fine. I will keep adding what I did before and on each step debug but I didn't do much for it to act like this, just normal level making stuff.
  7. Debug worked fine before and game runs fine but now debug crashes with "Error: Unknown client disconnected" The only thing I changed today was make some more walls, floor, stairs and changed everything to either far or medium on view range. Before everything was set to Max on view range. I installed the latest Nvidia drivers to see if that was it but didn't help. What's going on it worked just fine before and I didn't change any coding just view range and added some stuff.
  8. I have it figured out. I made a cylinder, adjusted the size and placed it where it needs to be to look like the other steps. I then dragged the cylinder in the scene tab up to the stairs and dropped it there, making it a part of the stairs. Add a material to the cylinder then just save as a prefab. Thanks Josh for making Leadwerks idiot friendly
  9. I unistalled and reinstalled the the SciFI Interior pack but has the same issue. You can see the second step is missing the front of it. Is there a way I edit the .mdl file or is there something else not right?
  10. AH yes, I now remember reading that a couple weeks ago and totally forgot, sucks getting old Thanks again! EDIT: Worked great. It's funny how easy something is when you know what to do.
  11. No, there is no orange lines like other things. How do I add that?
  12. Hey guys, I made some pipes but I walk through them with the exact same physics properties as door and walls that I can't walk through. Looking at the collision chart http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/api-reference/_/command-reference/collision-r778 I should not be walking through it. What do you think is going on here? Thanks
  13. Odd, I click "no" and run the game I'm making just fine.
