  1. You can set the velocity to the value just before the impact happened. The problem is velocity will stay constant. I don't know if there is a way to tell the objects to behave like normal after we set the velocity ? I mean you set the velocity that stays constant , than calling a function the object would loose velocity behaving like normal physics ?
  2. It looks so bad, it's my taste. Why not proposing a checkbox or two shaders at choice at terrain creation ? - Standard universal like all 3D engines that looks good - LE3 custom underground terrain shader I don't want to modify shaders each time LE3 makes a huge update or simply modify standard shaders.
  3. you mean like that ? Will it be possible to make a road crossing another or a road divinding in two roads or two roads joining another one ? I think about racing games shortcuts and alternative path.
  4. +1 Pivot is very used, and having to switch and find it in menu is slowing down the workflow. Workaround : You can copy your pivots.

  6. Some work on terrain, the first environments levels will be desert like.
  7. Hi , A road system for terrain, whatever is the system, from simple terrain flattening , to polygon terrain system, it would look lot better for people needing to make today roads ( it would help for game cars also). Without it , it's longer to make and not as good.
  8. In the example below , i painted road variations. I can't imagine manually painting variations on my whole game level, it would take ages while it could be done in some second with some alpha brush. Would help a lot to have allpha brush for paiting on terrain
  9. +1 No workarounds like old animation system. A simple easy and direct workflow is always better and you get lot more productive making your game faster and not loosing time with workarounds.
  10. Terrain texture from distant view looks bad.
  11. hi I choose a texture on terrain, and in the editor it display visible bright dots. Textures on terrain should be equal as texture used.
  12. Within some hours, i'm buzzy right now. But you got some problem, i don' t know if it is Linux related ? Blender export how you do it and what settings you use ? or something with LE3 and your system ? Did you restarted LE3 and your machine already ? Or re installed LE3 also ?

  15. You are right it is a problem. In the picture i used static shader for the mode instead of animated one. If i choose animated diffuse/normal/specular (or simply Diffuse animated) ,the model disappears.
  16. So i don' t see the problem , the shadow seems fine.
  17. Also LE3 is not able to load normals informations from imported mesh ( i don't know if it has been corrected?) Why is there a sub folder with same files ? what is the good one to test ? Taking the root model and textures, i made a material from your textures, but dropping it on your model nothing appears. Don't you have some UV problem ? I like the design of your turret, i have some similar spider bot in the makings also.
  18. Yes, i extracted the GZ, then the Tar, but the file don't have a name. I use 7Zip ,perhaps you could make a simple zip ? I renamed the file into MDL, but it crashed LE3 trying to open in the model editor.
  19. 70 Mo for one model ? it's high res version. What is the file you give me ? Blender or MDL ? i don't see the extension, trying to rename Blend or FBXi could not open it in Blender.

  21. I have no scaling problems. I exported it from Blender in FBX format, than imported the FBX in LE3. You should use that safe way of working.

    It's more non required work compared t oa simple smooth. I don't need it , i have already my AI and system, but it could had been good for people using it with characters.

    Is the path navigation smoothed like a curve to avoid sudden direction change at each point ? Making and using waypoints hsould be part of the editor and the engine.
  24. I would say make the game yourself , so it will suits your preferences
