  1. Yes...you can make almost any kind of game with Leadwerks....A lot easier than CryEngine....
  2. Blender3D is free and has many tutorials and books....and of course Leadwerks as your game engine.... BLENDER3D
  3. Hey Tiago....Welcome to Leadwerks...I would recommend that you take some time and learn some of the skills that you are lacking...There are "Idea Men" on every development site in the world...having a idea is great, but there is a lot of work that goes into a video game...I recommend that you slow down a little and start taking tutorials for Leadwerks and ask questions here on the forums...A little learning can go a long way....hope this helps....
  4. @talamander.....As rick said, doing a multiplayer game for your first game with little coding experience is the death of your dream project...Start small and take all the tutorials...put out several small games and let the community here play them and give feedback...take this feedback as a learning experience to make your dream game better....Welcome to Leadwerks
  5. Get in contact with Josh at support @ leadwerks.com I was in the same position as you with 3.0...I got a upgrade to the indie version only...no C++....You will have to buy the standard version which is on sale now...but josh should give you the upgrade to indie but you will have to pay for standard version...It may be faster to contact Josh on Steam....hope this helps....
  6. I have been working with the beta version 3.4 and everything seems to be working good....
  7. It should update automatically when you start the engine....
  8. I would like to join just to follow along as a learning experience...Is this ok....?
  9. Thanks for the update on the hangout Olby.....
  10. Thanks shadmar....and Josh...I was following the instructions but Steam just needed a restart...Thanks
  11. I can't seem to opt in to the beta...not sure why...I right clicked and clicked properties and betas...there is no drop down to opt in to...
  12. Make sure you change the character angle in the editor back to zero....
  13. Try rotating in modeling program and reimport....
  14. I had a similar problem once and used a pivot parented to the wrist...this allows you to offset the pivot from the wrist and attach the sword to the pivot....may not be the correct way, but it allows for precise rotation of the sword....the pivot will work similar to the Dummy object you mentioned, but is implemented in code....Adding a bone to the hand is also good....hope this helps
  15. WTF...That's odd indeed....
  16. I agree with Naughty Alien...Engine still needs work, before adding console support....
  17. @Josh.....I would just like to see a way to separate everything...Like, if I have 10 generators, I would like to be able to put these in a folder called generators in the hierarchy...I hope this makes sense...
  18. I keep my materials in the same folder as the model and have had no problems....
  19. I agree with Naughty Alien on this one...I see no reason here for name calling...This is the General Discussion Forum...
  20. OK ....Sorry if my statement was incorrect...But this was the main reason that I bought the program....
