jgilbert
Hi, I'm very new to development, and am creating my first game. I'm creating an open world with several buildings that I want to be able to walk through (as a first person character) rather than build these in leadwerks itself I am wanting to create them externally, in sketch up and import as objects (they are already made and are pretty big) am I able to import them and make it so my character can walk around them? not sure if this is a silly question or if it makes total sense :/
shadmar
Leadwerks can import fbx model format. So yes you can, but you will need to convert obj to fbx and then import. Quote HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB

shadmar
If you name a group in your mesh for collision it will be collidable on import. http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/blog/1/entry-1203-beta-branch-update-tons-of-art-pipeline-enhancements/ Quote HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
