Josh
This is what happens on lower light quality settings. If you have an Intel chip, it defaults to the lowest setting. josk
I have a Nvidea GTX660TI, so I think thats still ok. I noticed shadows in the Editor have a longer viewing distance. Quote Elite Cobra Squad
shadmar
I suspect editor setting isn't transferred when game is run. Try setting this in your app.lua self.world:SetLightQuality(2) 1 Quote HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
Josh
At this time, they do not. It's surprising to me people would even expect that behavior, since typically an editor will run with lower quality settings than your game. josk
I suspect editor setting isn't transferred when game is run. Try setting this in your app.lua self.world:SetLightQuality(2) This worked perfect, thanks a lot. Is that in the Command Reference? gamecreator
I can't find it in the documentation, searching either for SetLightQuality (no results) or just quality (1 legacy result). Seems like it should be here, but it isn't: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/documentation/_/command-reference/world/
macklebee
yes, tjheldna has pointed that out in this bug report that it is missing in the LE3 documentation: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/10339-missing-in-documentation/ I'd suggest people add to that list whenever they can.
