You may want to take a look at this and vote for the features you want if you haven't because a lot of what you suggested are already listed: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/10381-requested-features-and-improvements/ The light intensity and the shortcuts sound like good ideas though! I'm not really sure how useful UV mapped physics would be (or even what that means), because right now you can apply a force on the surface of a mesh.
