Imchasinyou
I have a question that after an extensive word search in the forums, I have come up empty. Im wondering when a game is run, in steam it says you are in "SpaceWars" how can i change that name or can I? beo6
You can't change it yourself. The game-name is bound to the appid in the steam_appid.txt. If you are lucky enough and released a game on steam you will have your own appid.
Imchasinyou
Well, thats pretty unfortunate as I have NO intention of releasing anything to steam for any reason. I just hate that title of "space wars". I have had several friends ask me what "space Wars" was as they couldnt find it on steam. .. . . . lol Meh, what would you expect from steam anyhow. . . . Thanks for that info. bandrewk
If you don't want to use Steamworks features in your game simply remove the steam_appid.txt from the project's root directory.
Einlander
And in your app.lua, delete the steamworks:initalize line.
