Haydenmango
So I am trying to edit an exported terrain from leadwerks but I can't find any photo editing software that can open the .r16 file type (except for photoshop which I can't afford). Does anyone know a (preferably free) program I can use to edit .r16 files? nick.ace
I think GIMP and Paint.net can both open it, but you need to install plugins for importing this file format (RAW).
Guppy
if the 16 thing referes to 16 bits per channel then gimp is out untill version 2.10 comes out Quote System: Linux Mint 17 ( = Ubuntu 14.04 with cinnamon desktop ) Ubuntu 14.04, AMD HD 6850, i5 2500k
BES
Only ones that I find are terrain makers like L3DT or World Machine or Photoshop of course.. Blender seems to be able to import raw terrain(you have to turn on the plug-in) ....not sure about ones from LE2 or 3 though ... I find blender terrain sculpting to be too glitchy ... and I have a good computer.. 1 Quote Threadripper 2920X Gen2 CPU(AMD 12-core 24 thread) | 32Gigs DDR4 RAM | MSI Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Stock OCed | ASRock X399 Professional Gaming Motherboard | Triple M.2 500Gig SSD's in Raid0 Windows 10 Pro | Blender | Paint.Net | World Machine | Shader Map 4 | Substance Designer | Substance Painter | Inkscape | Universal Sound FX | ProBuilder | 3D World Studio | Spacescape | OpenSky | CubeMapGen | Ecrett Music | Godot Engine | Krita | Kumoworks | GDScript | Lua | Python | C# | Leadworks Engine | Unity Engine
