LeveeWasDry
Yes, yes, I'm sure this may be considered utter spam but as this post is relevant to Leadwerks, this seemed like the board to post in. I've been eyeing this engine for awhile and I've actually known about it in its previous iterations YEARS ago. I have to say that the latest Steam support and the promising updates have got me interested in doing work within the engine. I'm not one to jump into something lightly, so for you guys to get me interested in Leadwerks deserves some high praise. While I'm new to Leadwerks, I would classify myself somewhere in the "Intermediate" camp. I prefer "total creative control" over my projects so I mostly man it solo when working on games. I've spent too long of a time in FPS Creator with no real "ease of use" alternative until now. I've dabbled with Unreal but it proved to be more of a headache than desired. My latest project can be found below (or at least the prototype): http://www.indiedb.com/games/diablo-chteau I really want to make Diablo Chateau the story-telling experience I wanted it to be all along and the limitations of FPSC really just set me over the edge. I think Leadwerks will obviously require more work to be put into it but I think the results will be far better for it. I look forward to talking with all of you and getting my hands dirty with the engine!
