reaply
Hello, I have been trying to do some research on the engine for my future projects. Now, I am unable to find information on the licenses (or maybe I didn't look hard enough.) If I bought the license on steam for Windows, would I be able to use that license on the Ubuntu Software Center and use it on Ubuntu without having to pay twice? AggrorJorn
When you but it on steam you van download it for all available platforms. You do not however get a sepparate key for the Ubuntu download center.

Does this imply that there will be a release for Linux on steam in the NEAR future?
DerRidda
The near future was already a couple of months ago. See the penguin here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/251810/

reaply
Strange. Last night I VMed Linux Mint with Steam and tried the demo. When launched it said that it is not available for the OS. I suppose there is no demo for Linux.
DerRidda
That is indeed the case but the full thing is there.

AggrorJorn
Also note that Ubuntu is currently the only officially supported Linux OS. I think others are using Linux Mint as well, but if you have a bug it will not be looked at.
