SolarFlareHD
Hello i am having troubles getting the prefab "Crawler" to follow/attack the FPSPlayer. I have gotten retaliation to work though such as when you shoot the enemy he will hit you but never looks at you. If someone could help it would be highly appreciated since i am just learning what to do bit by bit Thanks.
Imchasinyou
Assuming you have attached the "MonsterAI" script to him there should be a sight range setting. Increasing this will allow the AI to "see" you sooner and as such, if you flee, he will follow you until you are outside this radius. Also make sure you have built the navmesh. With out this, the AI cant move and will react to you if with in range but not move towards you. If you have buildings, bridges and other obstacles, make sure they are ticked as "nav object" in the physics tab prior to building the nav mesh. Dont forget to save, save, save. Saving your work periodically just in case something happens will prevent tantrums, a broken mouse and other tantrums. . . . Ask me how I know. . . . .
