Imchasinyou
Im hoping some one can help me here. Ive gotten some sounds to use in a game Ive been messing about with. When i attach them to the character via my script, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. seems as if there is some differance in wav files? So, here are my questions. What sound type is compatible with characters? What sounds work with the noise script and allow for the range to work? What sounds are compatible with just ambient background music. Is there a way to have zones for sounds. If you are in this zone, this sound plays? Can i do that with a set of pivots? DerRidda
Some of your wav files might be stereo while you are probably using them in a situation where they need to be mono.

DerRidda
As a rule of thumb: If the sound file is coming from an entity in 3D space it most likely has to be mono. "Disembodied" ambient sound and background music could be stereo.
