Marcus
Let me preface this with saying, I'm not a fan of Gar(b)ageGames in any way shape or form. I will say that they have a great feature they just added to Torque3D. It would be awesome for level designers to flesh out something playable. I really think it is awesome. Basically, it allows you to model in a similar way that Sketchup does. Here is a video: Torque 3D Sketch Tool
Niosop
I think Josh was considering adding some basic CSG editing support to the editor, not sure what he finally decided, or if he has yet. Chris Paulson
Very impressed with video, as a non artist I'm a fan of the sketchup type interface.
Rick
I feel like CSG is a requirement for any mapping editor. You don't want your level designers to rely on the modelers for the core larger things in your level. The designer should be able to do those. Masterxilo
Wow, their SSAO (activated from 2:42 on) looks fantastic. I really like that generic gray/orange texture with the resolution ("512x512") written on it. Where to get one just like that? Quote Hurricane-Eye Entertainment - Site, blog. Those are extremely easy to make. I always use ones similar to those that I made.
Niosop
Don't tell anyone, but I know a guy who knows a guy who can get his hands on some textures like those. It won't be cheap though, but it's good stuff. Quote Windows 7 x64 - Q6700 @ 2.66GHz - 4GB RAM - 8800 GTX ZBrush - Blender

VicToMeyeZR
This request would go along the same lines as integrating 3dWS or a version of it, into the editor, wouldn't it? Masterxilo
I guess adding only very simple modeling/csg would be easier than that. Quote Hurricane-Eye Entertainment - Site, blog.

VicToMeyeZR
how about this? This is broken down by 32x32 bit squares, so you can better see angles, and changes in the mesh.
