nick.ace
I've tried using the reimport features for models, and it doesn't actually change anything. This gets annoying for when you need to rescale a model based on the .fbx dimensions or need to clear all imported animations or need to change the normals to what they originally were. I've experienced this with many models, so I suspect it's a universal problem.
gamecreator
I've dragged an FBX into a folder just today, overwriting the previous FBX, and it updated the MDL. So we may need more information as this seems to work fine for me. Maybe you're doing it a different way...? Or maybe you're on beta (I'm not).
nick.ace
I mean there is a reimport button (Right Click on Asset -> Reimport), and this isn't working. I mean, I can get around it and all, but it should work from the start. I'm using the beta, but I noticed this with past versions as well.
MarkusR
the menu does not work for reimport, u can use after rescale / collapse etc.. this should reload the fbx file. try this workaround, rename .fbxxxx and back to .fbx PC : Win 10 Pro 64 Bit , 4x cores ~2 GHz , 8 GB RAM , AMD R7 265 2D : Photoline , Zooner Photo Studio 13 , Art Rage Studio 3.5.4 , Ashampoo Snap 7 , ... 3D : Shade 15 Basic , Carrara 8.5 & DAZ Studio 4.8 , Cheetah 3D 6.3.2 , Via Cad 8 Music : Samplitude Music Studio , Music Creator 7 IDE : Leadwerks Engine 3.x , Unity 5.x , (Unreal 4.8.x) , AGK v2.x , Construct 2 , (Clickteam Fusion 2.5) , ShiVa 1.9 , Game Maker Studio , MS Visual Studio .Net , Android Studio , Monkey , ... Josh
Confirmed. I think the problem is it checks the file time and ignores the file event because it assumes it was already converted.
