Guppy
It looks like the classical "model has been scaled in object mode" mistake - but then the file is not made in blender is it? YouGroove
I have no scaling problems. I exported it from Blender in FBX format, than imported the FBX in LE3. You should use that safe way of working. Quote Stop toying and make games
alrusdi
I can't manage it to be exported correctly from blender... Original .blend file is here I don't believe in local misconfiguration because i have the same results on 3 different machines with different OSs (Windows and Linux). Furthermore in final .mdl file everything seems ok, but not in editor. YouGroove can you please provide me your final .mdl file generated after conversion from fbx? Just want compare it with my variant
YouGroove
Within some hours, i'm buzzy right now. But you got some problem, i don' t know if it is Linux related ? Blender export how you do it and what settings you use ? or something with LE3 and your system ? Did you restarted LE3 and your machine already ? Or re installed LE3 also ? alrusdi
No, it is not Linux related. Bug is reproduced with the same behavior on both Windows and Linux; both LE3.2 and LE3.4(beta). It is also the same beahvior with FBX->Leadwers and with Blender exporter->Leadwerks
YouGroove
You are doing something wrong. I also found that all 3 individual objects didn't had Object appplied Location and Scale , that can make problems also. Here is something that should work : Import the model FBX in BLender and follow these steps : And import the FBX file in LE3 , that's it. If you need 3 separate objects, just delete each time two objects and apply Location/scale to the last one and just export it as FBX. And import in LE3 the 3 Fbx files of individual objects. LE3 is very stable with models exported from Blender FBX export. If it doesn't work , you are doing something wrong , or your computer is possessed by a ghost Quote Stop toying and make games
alrusdi
I believe applying location and scale is wrong way to do things. But it works, i know. .mdl file format is supports different values of location, rotation and scale for each submodel in hierarchy. My bug report is supposed to show conditions when correct .mdl file can be displayed wrongly in engine and it bug should be fixed to improve quality of engine
YouGroove
Read my previous posts : got it working without applying Scale and Location also and without joining objects. A simple FBX export worked. Do you use LE3 Blender plugin exporter ? Otherwise with Blender direct FBX export and LE3 import , there is not bugs. Something is wrong on what you do or your system or tools have a problem, but all is fine with LE3. Quote Stop toying and make games
