Josh
A bug in AMD's 14.9 driver will cause Leadwerks to fail with the following error on start: Error r6025: Pure Virtual Function Call They have released a new 15.4 beta driver which resolves this problem: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx 3 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. DerRidda
There is a preview version for Catalyst 15.3 up in the repos for Ubuntu 15.04. You can download the debs here: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/2:15.200-0ubuntu1/+build/7051725 Use at your own risk! If in doubt, wait for the official version to come out. There's also an archive for non-Ubuntu users to take a look at: https://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/restricted/f/fglrx-installer/fglrx-installer_15.200.orig.tar.gz
Josh
Well, the pure virtual thing only affects Windows. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
DerRidda
True but 14.12 is still total toss with OpenGL 4.x on Linux as well. Let's hope that driver hits all platforms sooner rather than later... and actually works.
TheSilentBoo
Hey all, does anyone know when the release date with the new fixed driver will be? I need the latest driver for other programs on my laptop but have been unable to open Leadwerks for quite some time now and I am starting to loose momentum on my project... I have previously rolled back to be able to use the program but I don't want to keep rolling back and forth for a single program on my laptop. Thank you for your reply and for developing such a great tool! (I got all the DLC from Steam to show support and of course to experience the full capabilities of the engine!) Thirsty Panther
Has anyone tried the new driver? I'm not game to update just yet. I'll wait and see the feedback. I've enjoyed several months of a stable Leadwerks, be it with older drivers, and my productivity has improved.
