josk
What DLC is planned next? People will want different things but for me Sci-fi props would be good. I can see a nice asset store being a nice addition, was there talk of allowing other people to sell assets via steam? damvcoool
I would like to see a Landscape/Vegetation Addon something that gives you everything needed to create full landscapes with Rivers, Roads, Grass, Rocks, Boulders, Stump, Shores, Ocean, Trees, Palms, Day/Night Cycle, Rain, Snow. i know we can implement some of those stuff ourselves but it would be nice to have it already done for us and ready to be used. gamecreator
And deserts. Don't forget deserts (sands, cliffs, etc.). It would definitely be a nice tie-in to the vegetation release and would hopefully help make Josh some extra money. Of course, he'd need to find an artist that wants to participate... That said, I've seen some nice packs out there already - I think shadmar put some together from freely available ones online - so this could also be a good task for the community. xtom
Yes some terrain packs with different themes would be good. Snow, desert, forest, jungle etc. Quote Check out my games: One More Day / Halloween Pumpkin Run
YouGroove
I would like to see a Landscape/Vegetation Addon something that gives you everything needed to create full landscapes Until LE3 brings fast vegetation system it is useless , wait for the vegetation tool first. For rocks , plants , trees , its' basically photographic textures use.You only need some techniques for rocks and you can grab textures needed from CGtextures for example. Perhaps some people would be interested in some Art Landscape community project ? The benefit is anyone participating will share textures or basic models to use and techniques to make new ones in some easy way. Anyway, LE3 needs Character packs ready to use are more needed for gameplay, like basic one : soldiers, aliens, monsters , medieval. Why not proposing yo 4K to make some of it's packs ready for LE3 as DLC , there are more than complete and Pro quality http://u3d.as/publisher/manufactura-k4/1YC Quote Stop toying and make games
xtom
That sounds like a good and fun idea. Maybe we should start a game art thread on a particular focused theme and different people can submit there objects, textures etc. and after a while you would have a free community pack. I'd be happy to try my hand at some basic models like rocks or something. Quote Check out my games: One More Day / Halloween Pumpkin Run

gamecreator
It may be more productive to start by gathering what already exists on our workshop and online to not waste time remaking things. For example, Nobiax provides a ton of free useful items including rocks and trees and textures: http://nobiax.deviantart.com/gallery/24853853/Packs There are also free items here: http://opengameart.org/ http://www.turbosquid.com/ Related reading: http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/8507-free-resources/ http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/10094-request-models-here/
josk
More Scripted Character packs would be good. If it can be arranged FlowGUI would be good. Quote Elite Cobra Squad
YouGroove
If it can be arranged FlowGUI would be good. +1 Even with price increase due to Steam and LE3 parts, FlowGUI as DLC would open LE3 lot of new users beeing visible on Steam Quote Stop toying and make games
Josh
I hope to monetize the Workshop soon so that these can be released by users themselves, without any oversight from me. 8 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. Gonan
Hi Josh, the workshop 50 item limit may need some attention, unless you can subscribe and pay, unsubscribe, and subscribe without repaying.
shadmar
Skyrim had the same problem until 3 days ago: https://www.google.com/search?q=steam+workshop+subscribe+limit&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 http://www.bethblog.com/2015/03/02/skyrim-workshop-file-limit-is-now-limitless/ Quote HP Omen - 16GB - i7 - Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
Genebris
No, it was 100 MB for a single mod limit for Skyrim. 50 mod limit was only for a few weeks after Skyrim workshop opened (in 2012).
