Rick
Was just thinking that since the game player in LE is sandbox mode (I believe) and you can't use file i/o in sandbox mode, I was wondering if there is a way we can tell we are running from the gameplayer in our scripts? Might be nice to know this so we can skip calling i/o functions to avoid errors instead of needing different scripts of the game to run in the game player vs not using the game player. Josh
You can query the command line to tell if sandbox mode is enabled: System::GetProperty("sandbox") 5 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. gamecreator
From the documentation: Command-line properties are not supported on some platforms. What platforms are they not supported on?

beo6
When we are at it, can we also check if sandbox mode is enabled?
