thehankinator
With AMD Catalyst version 15.7 it looks like a lot of models do not render, only their shadow. This particular problem was not present in the beta drivers(15.6). Not sure if this is a Leadwerks issue but probably the best place to start. Anything I can do to troubleshoot this? CreativeOcclusion
I just switched drivers to 15.7 from beta 15.6 and have no problems with models rendering...
thehankinator
I've tried completely removing the driver and reinstalling but no luck. What card do you have? I have a 6870.
xtom
I have the same problem and I just updated to latest amd drivers too. What is strange is that if I play an already published game pretty much everything except the terrain disappears but if I run the game from the editor it seems fine. thehankinator
I've submitted a report to AMD referencing this thread, until it is fixed I guess I will be going back to the beta driver. I can't imagine what a nightmare this would be for a company attempting to release and support an opengl 4 game.
xtom
Instead of rolling back have you tried running game from the editor or publishing a fresh standalone? On my end this seems to be working ok - just games published prior to the driver update are giving me the problem which is strange. Is this the same for you guys? I'm not sure what the best thing to do is but we could be waiting weeks or months before amd release another driver and if you publish from the old driver maybe folk on the new driver won't be able to play it. Josh
Does this occur on both the default and beta branch? Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

Game Launcher - Models flicker Editor - No models Standalone - No models Does this occur on both the default and beta branch? I didn't think of checking that. It does not happen in the beta! Did you change something for this driver specifically?
Josh
No, I was thinking more that maybe I messed something up. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
DatSexyGrid
if you get close to the shadow the model do appear but i guess we have to use the beta until this isn't a issue in the stable release anymore. Quote Ignore my silly nick
norbert
Same Problem on ATI R9 270x. had the beta drivers installed on Windows 7 and everything was ok. Now today I updated to Windows 10 and now the models are gone. because there is only one driver for Windows 10.
