goodone
Saving as multiple meshes would be good. I have a house model with a door in it and would like to run a script to the door (for opening and closing). There are two groups in UUnwrap, but it always saves as one mesh to gmf. VicToMeyeZR
Its not the converter. Its UU3d Those groups in UU3d are not separate meshes, they are one mesh.. You have to actually split them into separate files, because that's a con of UU3D.. goodone
True, maybe Josh has good connections to Mr. Bolthouse Quote Athlon Phenom 2 X4 965 BE / Windows 7 64bit SP1 / 8G Ram / GForce GTX
VicToMeyeZR
Here is an email reply from Mr. Bolthouse. Greetings, Unfortunately, Unwrap3D does not support such mesh transformations, so the entire mesh hierarchy is combined on import. If you're working with skinned meshes and animation, usually this isn't much of a concern, but I can see how it can be important for static meshes. In short, it may take some time to add proper mesh transformations. A lot of internal structures would need to be changed. Regards, Brad Bolthouse I take from that, he sees the impotrance of it, so hopefully he will look into this feature. Maybe if other software owners email him from the contact page, he may look at it more seriously.
