psychoanima
UWP supports Xbox One, it would be great to have that opportunity with LE.
Josh
AFAIK you cannot publish to Xbox One without a developer license. UWP and XB1 do not support OpenGL or Vulkan. psychoanima
AFAIK you cannot publish to Xbox One without a developer license. For UWP (win phone, windows os, xbox) you need only standard ms dev license. UWP and XB1 do not support OpenGL or Vulkan. :\
Josh
Looks like you're right: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/xbox-apps/index However, they use the DirectX graphics API which is not worth supporting for a niche platform. We're moving to Vulkan in the future, and Microsoft doesn't appear to be supporting that either. Maybe in time they will see the light. But before Vulkan, as you stated, we are expecting these : Leadwerks GUI Built-in offline help with videos New game templates Achieve 80% approval rating on Steam Is there any timetable for them? Josh
Leadwerks GUI, possibly by Christmas, together with Mac support. Possibly. The game templates will take a long time. Given what I have seen over the years, I think those improvements will lead to the 80% approval rating I am seeking. I don't actually think the Vulkan renderer will take that long, maybe two months of solid work. Vulkan, together with some other things, would be Leadwerks Game Engine 5. 1 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
