Genebris
Can anyone suggest a good software to render blood sprite sheet like in this demo? I have tried in Blender, but it's fluid simulation seems so inconvenient. I guess you can't even make it splash without actually dropping something into the water. Thirsty Panther
I have some settings for blood splatter using an emitter. They are as follows: Set the material to default.mat (in the appearance tab) Set the diffuse color to Red (185,0,0,255) Under the emitter tab. Play - true Loop - true (in game you will want this to be false but to see the effect leave it as true) Duration - 700 Partials - 7 Rot Speed - 0 Velocity 0,1,0 Random Velocity -4,-4,-1 Acceleration 0,-6,0 Shape - Box Area 0.02. 0.02, 0.02 Burst Quality 7 This wont give you the total effect your after. You will need to set your own Material in the appearance tab. Something more blood shaped rather than a circle. You will also want a blood splatter decal on the target as well. Hope this helps. Genebris
In-engine particles always look ugly, I wanted something prerendered, it's basically the only way.
