Brutile
I'm getting weird stuff going on with my shadows. I used to get this when I had 2 lights intersecting, but I only have 1. I've tried setting the light quality to 2, but it still does this. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Josh
Are you referring to the pixels in the small shadow crate? It looks like corrupted GPU memory to me. I think this is a driver bug. Brutile
Strange, I haven't seen this bug outside of Leadwerks. I'll try to work around it, but it's a little frustrating when you can't take decent screenshots because of it.
Josh
A re-render of the shadowmap will fix it. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Brutile
How do I re-render the shadowmap? Dynamic shadows fix it, but I'd rather not.
Josh
There's presently not an easy way to do that. This is an Nvidia card, right? I would see if a driver update fixes it, or post a small demo on Nvidia's bug reports forum. Brutile
Yeah, It's Nvidia. I have the latest driver. I'll just work around it, especially if it's only happening to me.
Josh
I wouldn't worry about it because it will likely disappear in the next driver update. tjheldna
The exact thing happens to me too, however I forgot to report it. The issue has gone through many driver updates. Nvidia card also.
