PJet
When I launched Leadwerks today it performed and update, however when it finished downloading and installing the files Leadwerks did not load, there are no errors displayed. When I select launch "Leadwerks Game Engine", it displays the message that it is preparing to launch, the windows then disappears and does not launch - it does nothing at all. I have been running Leadwerks since 30/08/15 (566 hrs) without any major issues until now. Can the upgrade be undone (uninstalled).
Josh
Yes, you can select version 4.1 in the list of branches in the app properties in Steam. http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/8347-beta-branch-available-in-steam/ Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. PJet
Thank you, version 4.1 is working as expected. Is there a way I can determine what went wrong with the version 4.2 update, are there any error logs or other logs I can check.
Josh
There will be an announcement later this week. I like to roll the release out a few days before the announcement to make sure there are no last-minute problems. Still figuring out the best way to do this. We do have a separate branch for beta testing, but the number of people opted into it is pretty small. Josh
I added the VS 2015 distributable, which might fix your problem. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
