Genebris
Use particle emitter for this, it also has uv animation.
Gengivas
with a fire material?
reepblue
The fire pit prefab used a plane model with a script attached to it to make it face the player. This is because Sprites were not added to the engine until 3.3 I believe. If you set a sprite to the firepit's firs sprite material/shader, it should work. Just adjust the sprite settings. Genebris
Use a regular particle system with your fire sprite sheet and uv animation to the size of your sheet. Like in this tutorial http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/page/tutorials/_/particle-emitters-r10 This way you will also benefit from new soft particles.
