jgialluca
Is it possible to community source a game project on Steam Workshop?
AggrorJorn
I don't think this works because you can't upload all filetypes. Not to mention that you do not have any source control. Josh mentioned once that gametemplates would be added to the workshop but that has been a while ago. I would recommend an opensource repository using github, gitlab or bitbucket. You could do something like I do here: https://bitbucket.org/Aggror/projectoled
Rick
Note that Tim and I just had to move our project to gitlab from bitbucket because bitbucket's max repository size is 2gig where gitlab is 10gig. For simplicity sake we add everything to our repo and so needed the extra space.
mdgunn
I also ended up moving to GitLab. I suppose they may have harsher limits in future but for the time being it seems to offer the best in terms of size limits AFAIK.
