MikkelWesth1
Hello Im new to Leadwerks and I was reading the tutorials on how to use the software and then it hit me. I was wondering if its possible to create your completly own character and player script from scratch. And is it possible to create your own gun script from scratch too? Thanks ;-)
Josh
Of course, but it is easier to use our existing script or modify it. 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
MikkelWesth1
Ok but if I use your script its not legal to sell the game right ? And could I sell my game on any platform if i made it without the existing models ? And if I made a game with the shader / shadow material shaders could I sell it on any platform too ? Thirsty Panther
From the Store page. Royalty-Free LicenseYour games you make are yours. Yours to play, yours to sell, yours to give away, and do as you please. You will never be charged royalties for any game you make in Leadwerks. And because we only rely on free open-source middleware libraries, you never have to worry about purchasing expensive licenses from third parties. My understanding is that you can use any script, model, shader or sound effect that come with Leadwerks or that are avaliable from the Leadwerks Workshop in your game without having to pay royalties.
