Josh
This test will attempt to connect two computers with known IP addresses, where the server is behind a router. There are two bat files with settings to launch either a server or a client. You need to modify the bat file you are launching with the IP address of the other party. The server will attempt to send packets to the client IP address at the same time the client is connecting, which should allow the client to "punch through" the server's router. The server can set punch to 0 to verify that this only works with NAT punch-through enabled. If this works, then the next step is to create a program that runs on our server to handle the introduction of the client to the server, instead of manually typing in IP addresses. Does anyone want to try this with me? punch.zip Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. Josh
Okay, this will not work without the master server, so I will try another way tomorrow.
