Blitzbat
Hi ! I want to test how cheetah3d and leadwerks are working together. Just exported a dae file and tried to open it in the model viewer.. I can't load it. I have attached this file here. Is it a known bug? thanks! test2.zip
macklebee
as far as I know the modelviewer only accepts the Leadwerks GMF file format... so no, offhand I would say its not a bug Quote Win7 64bit / Intel i7-2600 CPU @ 3.9 GHz / 16 GB DDR3 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 LE / 3DWS / BMX / Hexagon macklebee's channel
Josh
Well, it's supposed to convert the .dae to .fbx and then .gmf silently, but it's not a feature that gets used very often, so it wouldn't surprise me if it had a problem. The .dae and .fbx converters are available in the "Tools" folder. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. Guest Red Ocktober
i don't know if it's a bug in the model viewer, or a bug in your model... i can load dae models into the viewer, but yours didn't work here either... i loaded it into UU3D and all i saw was a blue sphere... a blue ball... was that what your model was? --Mike
Josh
Perhaps either of the converters failed then? Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

Blitzbat
mhm I have recognized that no export from cheetah3d works when I add a material. Can this be a problem?
