mdgunn
I see Mulaka as an interesting game that could be a useful example to base some mechanics of our game from (potentially). There is a book in a book bundle at Story Bundle that retells the path of it's development. The books in these bundles are usually pretty good. 15 dollars gets you 11 books. The Mulaka one is only in the bonus tier. https://storybundle.com/games An interesting quote from the book..... Quote .....after six months of getting paid to make video games and showing up to the office every day to live the dream, Edgar let the investors know that they had nothing to show for it. Well, not nothing, but “****” according to Edgar. They had two levels complete that were riddled with bugs and, much worse, weren’t fun to play. “You know what, we don’t know what we’re doing,” were Edgar’s words to the investors, “We know what not to do, which is what we’ve been doing for the past six months, but everything that we have needs to be erased and started over. This is where we are. Let's not be Edgar and his team! Developing a game is hard. Particularly 3D. So many bits to bring together. I think we can do it!
