zipzup
Hello, I bought the Oculus Rift S today. When I start the virtual reality Map in Leadwerks, I can't move forward. I can only look around but not move forward. What do I have to do to move forward in virtual reality?

It's like marking the position and then appearing in that place. I don't know about that technology, but it seems that it's up to a command to establish that position.

zipzup
Thanks for your help. Teleport does not work with the Oculus Rift S in Leadwerks.
Josh
Sounds like maybe the buttons in the new controllers are not detected? Did you try all the buttons? 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.

reepblue
Maybe the openvr API needs to be updated with the engine? 1 Quote Cyclone - Ultra Game System - Component Preprocessor - Tex2TGA - Darkness Awaits Template (Leadwerks) If you like my work, consider supporting me on Patreon! zipzup
Thanks for the information, but I don't know how to update the OpenVR API with the engine.
reepblue
You can't. Only Josh can. It needs to be updated for the new index controllers anyway. I'm sure he'll do it once he's done with the new renderer for Turbo. Josh
Do your controller models appear in VR? Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
zipzup
yes the controllers are displayed. Also the movements.
Josh
Okay, we probably need to update the OpenVR DLL. It might even work if you download the latest one and just drop it in your folder. 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. zipzup
I copied the OpenVR DLL to my folder. But unfortunately the same as before. No teleport
Dobermann
I have the same problem. I own the Oculus Rift S. In the leadwerks engine I can only look around, but no teleport. Just stand on the spot.
Josh
Okay, please wait for an update. It might even be the case that the new Rift is not supported in OpenVR yet, so you might also want to check with Valve on GitHub. 1 1 Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
