Pancakes
I would like to be up do date on engine version but I also prefer the 2.31 SSDO. I have tried coping the SSAO.frag, but that hasn't done the trick. Which files do I need to replace in order to place 2.31 SSDO inside of 2.32? thanks Quote Core I5 2.67 / 16GB RAM / GTX 670 Zbrush/ Blender / Photoshop CS6 / Renoise / Genetica / Leadwerks

macklebee
you aren't seeing a difference between the SSDO from 2.31 and the SSAO inside 2.32 because they are both essentially the same file other than some lines that are commented out. From what I can tell the SSAO in 2.32 is the SSDO from 2.31, other than changes to number of raysegments and raylength. Jordan
I'd also like to revert back to the old SSDO. Much preferred it as it was. All I did was modify the code that mixes it in, so it isn't as heavy and only appears in darker areas.
macklebee
The previous SSAO was hnphan's... and it was used up until the second or so update release of 2.31. It should just require you to swap the files for the SSAO.frag and you should have the same effect as before. Jordan
I'm wishing to revert back to the original SSDO, from the current SSDO. Not revert to the old SSAO. Replacing the file didn't appear to work. Josh changed the SSDO recently so it doesn't appear in lit areas.
Pancakes
Can anyone who knows how to do this PM me a modified shaders.pak it seems no matter how I change it it stays the same. Also when I mess around in shader.pak too much it eventually breaks my install.
