TheoLogic
Do you have some wires of this. I think you misused some tris, these could be used in places where they are needed. I also miss texture quality... Quote Follow me

omid3098
thank you guys.. I'm glad you like it. @Theologic: about textures, I'm agree with you, they should be much better, however I tried to get a better quality, but because of my wrong uv mapping I could not get better than this it will cost about 5-6 hours of my time to remake uv and textures. and there is many models to create.. any way thank you for your point, I will try to get better texture quality with other models. and about tris, may you explane more? TheoLogic
If you just alpha map those railings you'll save some 1000 tris (maybe more), which you can use to remove the blockie parts. Quote Follow me
omid3098
I need these railings in first LOD. there will be 4669 tris for LOD1: 1718 tris for LOD2: 366 tris for LOD3: Quote Omid Saadat OD Arts Blog AMD Phenom II X4 940 - Geforce 8800GTS - 4GB RAM - XP x86 AMD 6000+ - Geforce 9800 GT - 2GB RAM - XP x86 (Home pc) Intel Core i7 - Geforce 310M - 4GB Ram - Win7 x64 (Laptop)

Saoru71
whoa! great work Omid. I admire how you guys are so pro and technical creating the different LOD models and such. I hope to learn that soon. You should place your screens in the gallery as well. regards, Alvaro Quote My signature was so outdated! I don't know if it's even relevant nowadays... omid3098
I thought creating LODs should be very difficult. but now I do it really simple in 3ds max, and also I know there is many other easy ways to create LODs! if you don't have 3ds max, you can use meshlab. Saoru71
Thanks a lot Omid. I had no idea of Meshlab, it really comes in handy I used to work with 3dsmax but I totally switched to blender now, so a program like the one you posted will be of great aid. Checking it out now. cheers, Alvaro ps. Don't forget to upload your stuff to the gallery Quote My signature was so outdated! I don't know if it's even relevant nowadays...
