JORGEMAL
I am working with some jpeg textures in 3DWS and I decided to convert them to bmp format; I can visualize the converted files using Windows Image Viewer but when I try to get them from 3DWS all I see is a black square. Is there any problem when working with bmp's? With respect, Jorge Maldonado
Rick
I guess I'm not sure if 3DWS reads bitmaps. I've always used either DDS or jpg.

Pixel Perfect
3DWS should work with bitmaps so I'd maybe try using something else to convert them from jpg to bmp as it maybe just an issue with the particular bitmap file format your converter has produced that 3DWS doesn't like. I personally wouldn't use bmp as, like jpg, it has no alpha channel so cannot support transparency. I have traditionally used png but dds would be a good choice too. However, as I don't know what engine you are exporting to maybe bmp is a requirement.
