Aily
File Name: Cartoon shaders File Submitter: Aily File Submitted: 17 Oct 2010 File Updated: 17 Oct 2010 File Category: Tools and Utilities Just replace your shaders.pak with it, and your game became cartoon render style. It's not affect FPS much. Just detect edge in postfilter.frag and multiply pixel by 0.1, and downsampling attenuation of directional light (for point and spot there is bad idea to do this, looks not so good). macklebee
nice Aily... this is very similar to the one you did on the old forum... any suggestion on how to apply it to only a specific model instead of as a post process effect? Something like that would be extremely useful for creating a highlight/glow around a model. Yes, i just port it into new version, saw here somewhere that people need it. any suggestion on how to apply it to only a specific model instead of as a post process effect? Something like that would be extremely useful for creating a highlight/glow around a model. I will think about it But glow is works! macklebee
yes, sorry I meant something like an aura instead of a glow or maybe a highlight is a better description... referring to this:http://leadwerks.com/werkspace/index.php?/topic/41-highlightglow-outline-effect/page__p__262__hl__highlight__fromsearch__1#entry262 Quote Win7 64bit / Intel i7-2600 CPU @ 3.9 GHz / 16 GB DDR3 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 LE / 3DWS / BMX / Hexagon macklebee's channel

Aily
Thats is really cool aily. How long doe it take you to make it? How much time you mean? )))) There is less than 10 lines of code in shaders, about 20 minutes. Quote "Better" is big enemy of "good"
knowledgegranted
interesting concept, I like it alot. I think an entire game could be developed upon these shaders. Good work. Quote It's like JFK announcing the moon mission. He had no expertise in space travel, and no way of knowing if it would work. He just announced "we're going to the moon" and then they made it happen because everyone was on the same page and working towards the same goal. If he had said "well, let's get some people in space, and we'll see how far out we can get, and if I find someone to make a rocket strong enough, we could possibly approach the moon's orbit and maybe land" it wouldn't have happened. Road Kill Kenny
Try this one. http://www.leadwerks.com/werkspace/topic/3704-dirty-comic-shader/ Also make sure you read down the page for that one. Depending on what you want to use if for you may need to tweak it. You can see how to tweak it down the page.
