ZioRed
If you are used to Unity3D then you should forget all your previous behaviors, expectations from editor and probably workflow.... but wait, you said "don't want to buy Leadwerks engine", so how could you use sandbox? However it is possible to create a complete game only within the editor if you plan to make it with LUA scripting. Quote ?? Mumbles
The Sandbox is only available to people who have paid for an LE license... Quote LE Version: 2.50 (Eventually)
Laurens
If LUA scripting is disabled in the evaluation kit then no, it won't be possible. If it is not bundled with Engine.exe to start a game from scripts, then no, it won't be possible. Leadwerks is worth every penny though, twice. If you are serious about creating a game then I would recommend you purchase the engine. Besides, there is only support for licensees, and it's hard to go without when you're new to the engine Cheers!
Canardia
LE is the best, and if you don't want to pay for it, you will burn in hell. Churches also charge a lot of money to get people in heaven, so why should LE not? With LE you will get in heaven AND you make money from your games, it's the ultimate win/win deal.
