bsm3d
Hi, I would like to trigger events with Midi device inside LE, I'm ok with LUA but not C++/C#... Anyone have an idea to follow or a bit of time to help me ? Thanks, Ben
Flexman
That's an interesting one. I'm not sure how you'd get input from a Midi device unless you can program it to send keystrokes that could read in your LUA script. Only program I know of that can turn MIDI keys to keystrokes is MIDI2KEY written to play music inside the Lord of the Rings Online game. A link to the source is here... Pixel Perfect
There are certainly plenty of midi libraries available in C/C++ including wrappers for the Microsoft MIDI API. A quick google of 'midi lib lua' revealed a few indications of libraries too! You might want to investigate these to see if anything is suitable.
