YouGroove Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 I agree that a stable version having all new things running , will be lot better than having some blocking bugs ! Q2 would be great, that way we could use it and perhaps make and sell some game , before Q3 that is the end of the world Quote Stop toying and make games Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah Q2 it must be then I didn't know something like 21 Dec was important, just kidding, i want to make a game in 2012 , and another in 2013 could they be medium sized or bigger ! Yes Q2 2012 would be great, if it was available before, i wouldn't say no eventualy to already import my 3D art and make some earlier gameplay Quote Stop toying and make games Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
puki Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 The funny thing about Leadwerks3D is that I will buy it and never use it, other than running any demos that come with it. It kind of makes me feel exploited. There should be a law against this kind of thing. I hope it comes with loads of demos. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Canardia Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 You must try also the demos others make, then you get more for the money. Especially copy/paste code demos from the Forum. I do that all the time with Blitz3D and BlitzMax, and find often quite amazing demos, which I sometimes convert then to Leadwerks C++ to see how fast they run there and if they can be made as standard modules. Scott Richmond Posted December 10, 2011 Share Posted December 10, 2011 Did I read somewhere awhile ago that Josh was thinking of releasing a beta version of LE3D to those who paid for and asked for it? EDIT: I could be talking out of my arse here! Don't take it as fact! Roland Posted December 10, 2011 Share Posted December 10, 2011 Did I read somewhere awhile ago that Josh was thinking of releasing a beta version of LE3D to those who paid for and asked for it? Did pay? I did not know that one could pre-pay. Where? Quote Roland Strålberg Website: https://rstralberg.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

YouGroove Posted December 12, 2011 Share Posted December 12, 2011 Perhaps it will be some early beta (non complete version but allowing to make some things ) available for LE2 people ? I think some of us will be highly interested ! Quote Stop toying and make games Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yeah, you should just stick with old ****, that when the developer gets tired of fixing it, moves on to a new code system, and charges some more money once again.. I wonder who does that? LarryEllis Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 I thought long and hard before bumping this as im sure you're sick of being asked, but i really need to know. How far away do you think Leadwerks3D is Josh? I'm not about to hold you to you're word, just an estimate. 2nd quarter? 3rd quarter? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Canardia Posted January 13, 2012 Share Posted January 13, 2012 I wouldn't mind a minimal test release either, just the DLL and shaders Quote ■ Ryzen 9 ■ RX 6800M ■ 16GB ■ XF8 ■ Windows 11 ■ ■ Ultra ■ LE 2.5 ■ 3DWS 5.6 ■ Reaper ■ C/C++ ■ C# ■ Fortran 2008 ■ Story ■ ■ Homepage: https://canardia.com ■ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
