katron3
Hello, Recently, our company upgraded from LeadWerks 2.42 to LeadWerks 2.5. When I opened in LW 2.5 one of our projects ,done in LW 2.42 , I noticed with surprise that the "scale" tool existent in the LW 2.42 does not exist in LW 2.5. The 3D models which have been scaled (shrinking, for instance) in LW 2.42 , now keep the scale 1. Please see the attached screen shots. How I can scale the 3D models , using LeadWerks 2.5 ? Josh
Scaled matrices do not work properly with physics. You will need to resize your models to the correct size in your modeling program. Apparently, there is also a rescaling tool (for free) in the Asset Store, but I haven't tried it myself./ Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. For the other users, yes , it may create a mess if the model and the collision model have no the same size. In our company, we use the LeadWerks as a graphic engine , not as a game engine. We use another physics (NVidia). For us (and it's possible, for many other LW users) it is not a problem if we scale the model in LW. Maybe, in the future, you will try to find an optimum solution regarding this issue. Anyway, I re-sized the "traktor" in 3D Max, and it's all right. Happily, the other models have the correct dimensions (it is a large terrain 15 km x 15 km, with hundreds models inside) Thank you for answering me fast and at object, Florin
