Polan
Is it possible in leadwerks to split logic and render so we can use collision etc. on server side?
Rick
Not in LE2, but I believe LE3 will have it.
Naughty Alien
..you can if you use other physics engine then provided one..then you could keep renderer totally isolated from what you do with your physics updates..
Josh
Leadwerks Engine is pretty flexible, so you can process collisions on the server, and the server does not need to render anything. However, the server machine must still meet the minimum rendering requirements. Leadwerks3D (the new software I am working on) has better support for machines with no graphics cards. It is possible to run a dedicated server with no GPU. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without. Polan
Thanks for the answer. I will need to wait for leadwerks3d then.
