Benton
What is the LE Builder for? It seems to copy some files over, and makes a spinning cube, but that's it. Why should I use it? Rick
It makes it easier to setup projects. If you are using C++ it sets up the Visual Studio project for you. That's the only language I've used it with myself so can't speak to the other langs.
Benton
Ok but the world editor, UI folder, all that stuff is not created, should I go ahead and copy that in? How about lights? Are they created for me too, because I can't see them anywhere? cassius
I have never used le builder but I beleive it pastes all the files you need into the project folder. Then you just swap the spinning cube prograsm with your own program. In the editor you just drag and drop lights into your level and if you include framework in your program they appoear automatically. Benton
What is the "framework"? Do I copy the world editor exe into the LEBuilder-made project dir? cassius
No.Put your trust in le builder and see how it goes. framework is a pre written include file which should also be in your project folder IF you want to use it. Benton
Ok generated LEBuilder folder looks like this: When I copy the UI folder and world builder exe, there are no lights in the hierarchy. No models, nothing. So I don't think the framework include file is in here. Roland
You dont need any more files. Just change the media dir to where your assets are. Normally the sdk folder. Check the code and you will find the media string Quote Roland Strålberg Website: https://rstralberg.com
Benton
Oh the lights and stuff are all models. Weird. Now is that the framework?
