ParaToxic
Do you know images like this: http://imageshack.us/f/141/stsfinge1024ne4.jpg/ You have to set your focus like when you look to a far away object and you will see the depth in the picture. It would be a good idea for a 3D game without glasses. Does anyone know how to calculate this picture with the depth texture ?
DigitalHax
Uh do you mean magic eye? A lot of people just cant do it. ParaToxic
Just relax your eyes , move your head to the screen and move it slowly back.Don't look at a point ,no focus just relaxe. At a distace you will see a 3D picture.
Pixel Perfect
I love magic eye pics, that one's very clear. But I don't think it would ever be a viable technique for moving 3D animation as it always takes a while for the eyes to adjust and decode the depth information plus the 3D objects and background are always composed of the same texture. Pixel Perfect
lol ... it's true that not every one can see them, but then again it takes a little while the first time to discover how to SEE them. It really is like you have to look right through the immediate 2D pic as if you were focusing on a distant object well behind the image then after a while the mind just adjusts and brings the 3D detail out.
