Pixel Perfect
Although Welsh IS the best place in England. Nope ... I wouldn't stand still for too long, they'll daub you in green paint for that Oh ... and it's Cymru (Wales), Welsh or Cymraeg is what they speak and what's so hard about saying 'Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch' See, this is much more fun than talking about boring old release dates! Guest ant0N
how can I buy the engine, if I don't know the price? the more I don't ask for the exact number.
Pixel Perfect
LE3 is still in development and you can't buy the engine ... it's not for sale yet! When it is released the price will be announced. The only engine currently available to purchase is LE2. Whilst I appreciate it would be nice to know in advance, this is true for any product in development. There is always some point in time which beforehand, the price is not known. People just have to be more patient. 2 Quote Intel Core i5 2.66 GHz, Asus P7P55D, 8Gb DDR3 RAM, GTX460 1Gb DDR5, Windows 7 (x64), LE Editor, GMax, 3DWS, UU3D Pro, Texture Maker Pro, Shader Map Pro. Andy Gilbert
Sounds all good and a estimated release date sooner than i thought which is good . Look forward to it. Just one question if anyone might know, and i can imagaine all time has been put into the engine. But is there a plan for documentation (ie: will there be some form of which will be released with the engine, or will it build up over time like LE2?) Thanks Andy Quote The good news about computers is that they do what you tell them to do. The bad news is that they do what you tell them to do. Juggernaut
Mr Kint, When can we expect the price for the upcoming LE 3 to be announced ? Secondly, when LE 3 is released do we still have the option to buy LE 2 for the poor ones who can not afford the upgrade or the higher price of LE 3 ? Juggernaut
Does that mean support for LE2 will also cease officially when LE3 is released ? Josh
No, it just won't be sold anymore. If I were you, I would ignore the private launch. It's not mean for you. It's meant to be a thank you to existing Leadwerks developers, not as a way to pressure people into making a purchase without enough information. It's just causing you stress and indecision. Wait for the public launch. Quote My job is to make tools you love, with the features you want, and performance you can't live without.
Juggernaut
Allright Mr. Kint, I will wait for the public launch. But still would like to see what is so great about the new version - a peep-in perhaps at some point during private launch - of course if you permit.
