Missing textfield functionality to select content with SHIFT+POS1 and SHIFT+END

When working with textfields I noticed that they do not react to SHIFT+POS1 and SHIFT+END commands. Is it possible to add these to textfields in an update?

I do not know what the POS1 key is or what functionality this is referring to?

The Pos1 Key is the Home key on US keyboards.

Okay, so Shift+End will all the text to the right of the caret, and shift+home selects all text to the left of the caret?

yes, and without shift it just moves the caret to first or last position

I wasn't aware that the key is named differently on US keyboard layouts, sry for the confusion. Thanks for clarifying klepto2.
