Andy Gilbert
Do you mean graphically? In the past and and If i was to now, i would create all graphics in photoshop and then script the menu in leadwerks. Andy Quote The good news about computers is that they do what you tell them to do. AggrorJorn
I would make some sort of GUI system. Starting with buttons and later on expanding this with chexboxes and sliders. During the creation of every button, I allways specify an image or the color of the button.

02arnoldj
Thanks guys, i was thinking about using the editor and setting a camera to view the menu. That way i could have a 3D menu that moves slightly etc when you select an Option. Kinda like Race Driver GRID if anyone remembers that? stevejarman
Hi - I'm new; just playing around with the LE3 demo (which looks great). The first stumble I ran into was whether or not there is any sort of built-in GUI tool, and then I found this thread. Just want to confirm for certain that this doesn't exist in the product? Rick
Correct. Currently you have to roll your own. It's on the creators To Do list for the future though.

xAbraKaZebra
Is there a tutorial on how to do it? Also, do we use 1 map for the main menu and then another map for the actual game? I am super confused.
gamecreator
The short version is that you use Load to load a texture, which is a picture of a button or menu background, then DrawImage to display it. Then you use either mouse or keyboard commands to detect their selection and activation. But I believe there are both C++ and Lua code to use if you search the forums. montmars
Correct. Currently you have to roll your own. It's on the creators To Do list for the future though. Has this been implemented yet? it's been a few years ....
AggrorJorn
This is a bit of an old thread, but there are systems available. The official Leadwerks UI has yet to be released. The workshop has a free UI solution and there is FlowGUI as alternative free solution.
