karmacomposer
I am trying to import assets and if I am in a blank area of the grid it draws whatever primitive is selected, which is incredibly annoying. If I am trying to import, move, scale or rotate assets, I do not want to be drawing primitives like cubes or spheres. Also, I cannot seem to move imported assets in the quad view - they disappear and no move gizmo appears. We need a move gizmo and the assets need to not be hidden on the screen in the quad view. It would also be nice to be able to sync the four views so when you move an asset, it moves in all views. Solution Josh Posted November 6, 2023 Solution Share Posted November 6, 2023 There is a setting in the options like "Render during drag" that will do what you ask. Maybe it should be enabled by default. There is no gizmo for movement. This is very cool because you can click and drag anywhere on the object. To move vertically, hold the Alt key. Drawing and selecting don't require changing between different mouse tools. Leadwerks works the same way. There are some situations that can be a little tricky, but I want to get this out there first, let people work with it, and then get an understanding of how it can be improved.
